Anger In Rivers State As FRSC Commander Chops Off Female Officers’ Hair

The Rivers state sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Andrew A Kumapayi, conducted a general inspection on staff during the parade on Monday April 10.

Reports gathered that their hair, uniform and finger nails were inspected and surprisingly, the hair of female staff who contravened some work place regulations was chopped off.

The photos were shared on Facebook by FRSC Rivers sector with the caption: “The sector commander RS6.1, Rivers CC Andrew A. Kumapayi conducting a general (hair, uniform and finger nails) inspection on staff of RS6HQ, Port-Harcourt and RS6.1, Rivers during the parade on Monday 10th April, 2017.”
The FRSC allegedly has a rule which states that all female officers in uniform must not have a hairstyle that drops past their collar.
