A 58-year-old member, Sister Kate, who founded the sisterhood expressed that the sisterhood does not believe in religion. She said: “We’re against religion, so we’re not a religion. We consider ourselves Beguine revivalists, and we reach back to pre-Christian practices.”
The sisterhood has expressed that marijuana plant is their Holy Trinity because it helps them heal people in pain. They turn the hemp into cannabis-based balms and ointments, which they claim improves the health and well-being of people.
