Trump, Neymar, Viola Davis, Putin Make TIME Magazine’s Most Influential People


​US and Russia presidents, Donald Trump and Vladmir Putin, have been included among TIME Magazine’s 100 most influential people for 2017.

The list was categorised into five sections – Pioneers, Artists, Leaders, Titans and Icons. Chinese president, Xi Jinping, appeared on the list for his eighth time, the most of anyone featured this year.

The youngest person on the list is LGBT rights activist, Gavin Grimm, at 17 years. The oldest at 87, is Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female Supreme Court Justice.

The 2017 edition has actress Viola Davis, musician John Legend, Melinda Gates, Amazon CEO, Jeff Bezos and Riz Ahmed on its cover.

Also, Barcelona striker Neymar featured on the list as the only footballer named.
